Excelsior Integrated Care Center in Spokane

The Excelsior Integrated Care Center is a part of Excelsior Wellness and provides a number of outpatient and inpatient programs for children and teens. Specifically they provide the LifePoint coeducational program for youth ages 17 – 21. This program is designed to support young adults in their pursuits of wellness and independent community-based living. The program offers recreational activities like visiting the movies or arcades, and also offers a number of amenities.

Penrith Farms in Newport

Penrith Farms is a Failure to Launch Program for young adults, both male and female. Located on 320 acres of timber and farmland in Eastern Washington, the program is designed to help young adults transition to adulthood. Here students will learn how to live as adults by living and working with their peers communally. The main goals of the program is to strengthen communication, cooperation and completion.

Secret Harbor in Burlington

Secret Harbor provides help for children and families through a number of support services, such as support for foster families, in-home support, and a residential program. Secret Harbors residential treatment is for young men and boys who have experienced significant trauma due to abuse or neglect, and they have usually been in multiple unsuccessful placements. The program works with these young men to help them develop strategies and interventions to use in their homes, schools, and in the communities.

Idaho Youth Ranch in Caldwell

The Idaho Youth Ranch is centered around Equine therapy for youth, meaning the youth work with horses as a central part of their treatment. Children and youth will be able to develop connections with the horses and interactions with them can be powerfully transformative. These programs can help with youth and children struggling with depression, anxiety, impulsivity, defiance, and more.

The Idaho Youth Ranch offers a co-ed residential structured care program for young people ages 9 through 24, alongside multiple outpatient programs. These services are provided at a few different locations across the state. They also offer a TeleMental Health virtual therapy program.

Northwest Children’s Home in Lewiston

The Northwest Children’s Home offers a number of residential programs for children ages 11-17, one for boys and one for girls. Both programs provide individualized therapeutic residential care for teenage boys and girls with a need for a higher level of support and care. The programs use attachment theory and implement Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT). The programs also prepare students academically to transition back to their home districts.

Northwest Children’s Home also offers the Triumph House, a residential co-ed living program for young adults ages 16 to 21. This program is designed for youth who have either graduated residential care programs or have exhibited behaviors to step down to a lower level of care and begin the transition to the independence process.
