Building bridges is a rehabilitation program for teenage boys ages 14 to 18. Designed to help teens struggling with chemical dependency (drug and alcohol treatment for teen boys), disruptive behaviors – both in the home and in the school – as well as behavioral and social issues, such as depression and anxiety, boys will take part in a number of outdoor activities including backpacking, hiking, mountain-biking, rafting, and many more.

Therapy at Building Bridges follows a 12 step program and these youth will have multiple forms of therapy throughout the stay. One of the most common will be Milieu therapy, in which boys will have learning moments during their daily activities. This is facilitated by the fact that the therapists will take part in the same activities the boys do.
There is also more formal group therapy and individual therapy for the boys throughout the week, along with family therapy as a part of the process.
